Franklin's Tower

1. In another times forgotten space

Your eyes looked from your mother's face

Wildflower seed on the sand and stone

May the four winds blow you safely home

Chorus: Roll Away the Dew

2. I'll tell you where the four winds dwell

In Franklin's tower there hangs a bell

It can ring, turn night to day

It can ring like fire if you lose your way

Chorus: Roll Away the Dew

3. God save the child that rings that bell

May have one good ring baby, you can't tell

One watch by night, one watch by day

If you get confused, listen to the music play

4. Some come to laugh their past away

Some come to make it just one more day

Whichever way your pleasure tends

If you plant ice, you're gonna harvest wind

Chorus: Roll Away the Dew

Lead 3

5. In Franklin's tower the four winds sleep

Like four lean hounds, the lighthouse keep

Wildflower seed on the sand and wind

May the four winds blow you home again

Chorus: Roll Away the Dew

+ Ending from Slipknot

Someone’s comment: after watching Franklin's Tower on "View from the
Vault 2," I noticed that Jerry played the A - G - D - G progression as
barre chords starting with A major with the root on the 12th fret of
the 5th string, then moving the same shape down to G on 10th fret
fifth string, playing D major by changing the shape and playing D on
the 10th fret of the 6th string (sounds more complex than it is -- I
would draw this if I weren't so tablature-challenged).
